She is also the author of Confidently Connected: A Mom’s Guide to a Satisfying Social Life , which helps moms build and sustain a thriving, balanced social life that supports their emotional health.

Christa loves to network with those who share her interest in building stronger families and fostering more connected communities. She is available to speak to your online organization and was recently a keynoter for the 2015 Mothers & More Online Expo. Christa also facilitates an online Facebook group, “Confidently Connected Moms,” where she shares her work, resources and offers a positive online space for mothers to exchange information. She also coordinates a neighborhood book club and collaborates with other moms and writers who share her spirit for networking.
Christa earned her B.A. in speech communication and a minor in journalism from Texas A&M University. She went on to earn her master’s degree in communication at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
When she’s not writing, Christa is centered in her busy family which includes her two active sons, her golf-impassioned husband and a pair of sweet dogs. She and her family reside in the lovely Kansas City metro area, home of world-class barbecue, beautiful fountains and legendary jazz.
